Participants will use chemistry to identify starches, study the influence of temp and air movement on crystal formation, and learn that it is possible to make water and oil mix!

Participants will learn about the special properties of water while they experiment with dry ice, hot ice, instant ice and more!

Chemical vs. Physical Reactions Workshop

Participants will learn about chemical and physical reactions then use real laboratory eqipment to conduct experiments that demonstrate each.

What Goes Up, Must Come Down

Participants will conduct a variety of experiments that test Newton’s Laws of Motion.

Eye of Newt, Toe of Frog

Particiapnts will make a tadpole slime, learn about potential vs. kinetic energy and conduct a frog investigation with a paper model.

Glowing Haunted House

Participants will explore glowing materials, learn the chemistry of circuits and incorporate simple circuits in a glowing haunted house that they build!

So impressed by the set up, cleanliness, and how they make science accessible to all ages. We had so much fun I had to bring him back for open lab with his little brother. There was such a great variety of experiments they could choose from. During our hour we were able to do 5 amazing experiments with simple, clear instructions. Everything was explained super well, we were allowed to move freely and choose what interested our kids the most and got to do some really cool experiments that would have been difficult to do on our own.
