Open Lab

Self-guided science lab with 30+ experiments. Memberships provide discounted Open Lab access.

Camps

5-day science camps with 3-5 hands-on projects daily. Summer, holiday, and spring break sessions available.

Science classes

Science classes include homeschool (3-tier program with transcripts), after-school programs, preschool science, guided lab sessions, and dissection lab sessions.

So impressed by the set up, cleanliness, and how they make science accessible to all ages. We had so much fun I had to bring him back for open lab with his little brother. There was such a great variety of experiments they could choose from. During our hour we were able to do 5 amazing experiments with simple, clear instructions. Everything was explained super well, we were allowed to move freely and choose what interested our kids the most and got to do some really cool experiments that would have been difficult to do on our own. What ages does Little Beakers Sandy serve?

Generally, children ages 2-16 for Open Lab and 3+ for birthday parties and camps. Age requirements for various services may differ by program. Check with the Sandy location for detail. Little Beakers also serves homeschool families, daycares, schools, and corporations.

What makes Little Beakers Sandy different?

Little Beakers is hands-on—other science companies do “shows.” The Sandy lab accommodates 180+ participants, not small spaces. It’s educational, not just entertainment.

How much does it cost?

Visit the Sandy location page for detail. Open Lab: $20-$30 / hour for non-members. Birthday parties start at $225. Camps: $200 for 5 days. Group Events/Field trips: start at $6.50+ per student. Pricing is competitive.

What's the difference between Guided Lab and Open Lab?

Guided Lab: Staff-led sessions offered on a schedule. Appointments are required. Open Lab: Self-guided family exploration with 30+ experiments requiring active parent participation.

Is Little Beakers age appropriate for tweens and teens?

Kids of all ages from PreK to high school enjoy birthday parties, unique field trips, dissection sessions, and self-guided Open Lab at the Sandy location.

Do you go to schools to conduct lab sessions for students?

Yes. Although visiting the Sandy lab is highly recommended for the full experience, on-site events at schools and businesses are available. Request an obligation-free quote from the Sandy location.

Open daily June-August. During the school year, open select days per week. Open Lab typically 12pm-6pm. All services by appointment.

Programs

Do I need to stay with my child at Little Beakers Sandy or can I drop off?

Children may be dropped off for camps, classes, dissection lab sessions, and Guided Labs. Open Lab is a self-guided service that requires adult parent/guardian supervision.

Yes! Discounts vary by service and season. Check with the Sandy location for current offers.

Do you support school or other organization fundraisers?
