Open Lab

Self-guided science lab with 30+ experiments. Memberships provide discounted Open Lab access.

Camps

5-day science camps with 6-8 hands-on projects daily. Summer, holiday, and spring break sessions available.

Science Classes

Science classes include homeschool (3-tier program with transcripts), after-school programs, preschool science, guided lab sessions, and dissection classes.

This is a great place to take kids to learn about science! My daughter loved the little experiments we did and the slime she got to make. One of the staff, Calin (spelling?), was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend if you want a fun activity to bring your kids

My children had an amazing time this week attending both the Winter Camp and Open Lab at Little Beakers, and they can’t stop talking about it. The hands-on experiments were engaging, age-appropriate, and perfectly designed to spark curiosity and excitement about science. The instructors were warm, knowledgeable, and truly gifted at making scientific concepts fun and accessible. A special thank you to Ms. Eva, Ms. Sarah, and Ms. Lyndon as their kindness, patience, and genuine care for the children truly stood out. They made my children feel welcomed, encouraged, and confident, which made the experience even more meaningful. I loved seeing my kids so excited to learn as every day felt like a new adventure filled with discovery, creativity, and confidence-building experiences. Little Beakers strikes the perfect balance between education and fun, creating an environment where kids feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and think like scientists. We are so grateful for such a well-run program and will absolutely be returning for future camps and labs. What ages does Little Beakers The Woodlands serve?

Generally, children ages 2-16 for Open Lab and 3+ for birthday parties and camps. Age requirements for various services may differ by program. Check services at The Woodlands location for detail. Little Beakers also serves homeschool families, daycares, schools, and corporations.

What makes Little Beakers The Woodlands different?

Little Beakers is hands-on—other science companies do “shows.” The Woodlands lab accommodates 180+ participants, not small spaces. It’s educational, not just entertainment.

How much does it cost?

Check out our various services and programs for detail. Open Lab: $30 / hour for non-members. Birthday parties start at $250. Camps: $235 for 5 days. Field trips: $8+ per student. Pricing is competitive.

What's the difference between Open Lab and other services Little Beakers offers?

Open Lab: Self-guided family exploration with 30+ experiments requiring active parent participation. All other services such as birthday parties, group events, field trips, camps, classes, guided labs, dissection sessions and corporate team building, are staff-led sessions.

I know little ones love Little Beakers but is it age appropriate for tweens, teens and even grown-ups?

Kids of all ages from PreK to high school enjoy our birthday parties, unique field trips, dissection sessions and self-guided Open Lab. Many parents confess they enjoy Open Lab more than the kids and we offer unique and fun corporate team building events.

Do you go to schools to conduct lab sessions for students?

Yes. Although visiting The Woodlands lab is highly recommended for the full experience, on-site events are available. Request an obligation-free quote from The Woodlands location.

What are your Woodlands hours?

ALL services, including Open Lab, require an appointment. Generally, self-guided Open Lab hours will be available daily June-August and Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday during the school year. Other services, such as field trips, may be booked any day of the year.

Hours vary day to day depending on activities taking place in the lab.

Can I use my Woodlands membership at other locations?

Yes! Your Woodlands membership is also valid at the Cypress, TX and Katy/Memorial, TX locations.

Programs

Do I need to stay with my child at Little Beakers The Woodlands or can I drop off?

Children may be dropped off for camps, classes, dissection sessions, and Guided Labs. Open Lab is a self-guided service that requires adult supervision.

Do you offer discounts at The Woodlands location?

Yes! Discounts vary by service and season. Check with The Woodlands location for current offers.

Do you support school or other organization fundraisers?

Yes. Little Beakers The Woodlands donates coupons to schools and other organizations for fundraisers. Complete our donation request for your school or organization.
