All camps include snacks and juice, observation report materials, and most experiments as take-home projects. Lab coat and safety glasses are provided for the duration of the camp. Select your preferred location for specific dates, times, and pricing.

So impressed by the set up, cleanliness, and how they make science accessible to all ages. We had so much fun I had to bring him back for open lab with his little brother. There was such a great variety of experiments they could choose from. During our hour we were able to do 5 amazing experiments with simple, clear instructions. Camp Registration & Logistics

What ages can attend Little Beakers science camps?

Little Beakers camps accommodate a range of ages. Contact your preferred location for age recommendations for specific camp themes.

How do I register my child for science camps?

Registration is available online at littlebeakers.com or by calling 1-833-KIDS-LAB. Summer camps fill quickly, so we recommend registering 2-3 months in advance, especially for popular themes like paleontology, marine biology, and robotics.

What are your camp hours and drop-off/pick-up procedures?

Camp hours vary by location. Drop-off begins 10-15 minutes before start time, and pick-up must occur promptly at end time. Parents/guardians must sign children in and out daily for safety.

What should my child bring to camp each day?

Campers should bring a lunch (only if doing a full-day camp), water bottle, and comfortable clothes that can get messy. Little Beakers provides snacks, juice, lab coats, safety glasses, all experiment materials, and take-home project supplies. We recommend closed-toe shoes for laboratory safety.

Scheduling & Availability

When do summer camps run and how do I know which dates are available?

Summer camps run approximately June 1 through August 22nd at all five Little Beakers locations. Visit littlebeakers.com and select your preferred location to view the complete summer schedule with available dates, themes, and remaining spots. Popular themes like Paleontology and Marine Biology fill 4-6 weeks in advance.

Do you offer camps during school breaks besides summer?

Yes! We offer Spring Break camps (5-day programs in March/April, depending on location), Thanksgiving camps (3-4 days depending on location), Christmas break camps (3-5 days depending on location), and New Year’s camps (3-5 days depending on location). Holiday camps often feature seasonal themes.

What happens if my child is sick and misses a camp day?

If your child misses a camp day due to illness, contact your location to discuss make-up options. Depending on enrollment and space availability, we may accommodate make-up attendance during a future session of the same theme. However, make-ups are not guaranteed for full camps. We cannot offer refunds for individual missed days.

Can siblings attend camp together even if they're different ages?

Yes! Most camp themes accommodate mixed ages (typically 6-13) in the same session, allowing siblings to attend together. Our staff adapts instruction and experiment complexity to suit different developmental levels. Some specialized camps may have age minimums (typically 10+), but most themes work well for elementary and middle school siblings together.

How are Little Beakers camps different from other summer camps?

Little Beakers provides authentic laboratory science camps in permanent facilities with professional equipment. Every camper conducts real experiments using scientific methodology, lab coats, and safety glasses. Our curriculum features 6-8 hands-on projects daily with most becoming take-home keepsakes. We offer 19 specialized themes from shark dissections to solar robotics to forensic investigations.

Can my child attend the same camp theme multiple times?

While campers are welcome to repeat favorite themes, most families prefer exploring different themes across multiple weeks. With 19 different camp options spanning marine biology, paleontology, robotics, astronomy, forensics, and more, most children want to experience new topics each week.

What scientific concepts do campers actually learn?

Each themed camp covers 35+ experiments spanning multiple scientific disciplines. Marine Biology camps teach anatomy and microscopy techniques. Robotics camps cover circuits, electricity, and engineering design. Paleontology camps explore geology and fossil formation. All camps incorporate chemistry, physics, and hands-on scientific methodology appropriate to the theme and age group.

Are the dissection camps appropriate for all children?

Dissection camps are led by trained lab assistants who guide students through proper scientific dissection with appropriate context and respect for specimens. We recommend ages 8+ for most dissection camps, though mature younger children may participate with parent approval. Parents concerned about appropriateness should contact us to discuss specific camp content before enrolling.

Multi-week packages may be available at certain locations, such as “buy 3 weeks, get 4th week discounted” promotions during early bird registration periods.

What is your camp cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation policies generally offer full refunds if cancelled 14+ days before camp start date (minus administrative fee). Partial refunds, credit provided or no refund policies will vary by location. Little Beakers reserves the right to cancel camps due to low enrollment, severe weather, or emergencies, in which case full refunds, or prorated as the case may be, are provided.
