Science en masse!  Little Beakers can host your next group activity, accommodating up to 200 participants in one session*.  This is not a science show, folks; it is hands-on science where everyone joins in the fun of creating and learning.  And best of all, we clean up the mess!  We have our standard 1-hour lab session as well as tailored lab sessions catering to all ages and groups, such as:

Features

  • Little Beakers lab assistants will lead your group step-by-step through an organized, fun and exciting hands-on lab session.

  • Everyone is provided with a lab coat and safety glasses for the duration of the lab session.

  • No charge for teachers or chaperones.

Hands-on Science Session

A fast-paced, hands-on, fun, exciting and educational science session that thousands of kids of all ages have enjoyed.

  • 1-hour duration.

  • Up to 4 hands-on experiments completed.

  • Soda explosion finale for the group.

  • Different experiment sets for repeat visits are available.

  • We can come to you!

  • Virtual sessions available.

Dissections

Earthworm, grasshopper, frog, sheep eye, turkey heart, stingray, and even shark! A total hands-on experience where participants get to use age-appropriate special tools, and digital microscopes.

  • 1-hour duration.

  • Study of the internal and external anatomy of the subject specimen.

  • Take-home 3-D model and/or microscope slide preparation (inclusion of the 3-D model and/or microscope slide preparation depends on the subject specimen).

  • Participants work individually or in teams, depending on the subject specimen.

  • Gloves provided in addition to lab coat and safety glasses.

  • Virtual sessions available.

Brownies Science Badge

A fun and educational session of experiments that demonstrate topics such as density, static electricity, freezing point depression, phases of matter, surface tension, pressure, Newton’s Laws, polymers, and that meet the requirements for the Brownie’s Science Badge.

  • 1 hour and 30 minutes duration.

  • Up to 7 hands-on experiments completed (1 take-home).

  • Soda explosion for the group.

  • Meets Brownie’s Science Badge requirements.

Webelos Science Badge

Swinging buckets of water, optical illusions, polymers, pressure, and more! A very fast-paced session comprising 12 different activities/concepts that meet the requirements for the Webelos Science Badge.

  • 1 hour and 20 minutes duration.

  • Up to 9 hands-on experiments completed (1 take-home).

  • Soda explosion for the group.

  • Meets Webelo’s Science Badge requirements.
